My Take:

No surprises with the coaches poll. GCU did well last year and Blacksher Jr. led the way. It was to be expected in my opinion.

The great thing is Gabe McGlothan and Ray Harrison got some love as well.

McGlothan was the teams 3rd leading scorer (behind Blacksher and Holland Woods-graduated) at over 9 ppg and second on team in rebounds at 6.6 rpg, while Harrison transferred over from Presbyterian College from the Big South conference.

Harrison averaged 17 points per game and should provide immediate scoring. He is a little streaky from the perimeter, so hopefully he becomes more consistent throughout the long season.
